Philippe D. Helderweirt brings a background to MedPayRx that includes stints as an international lawyer, fintech entrepreneur and in the food and beverage industry.
He is also directly involved in European medical industry and holds cannabis licences in South Africa.
Corporate attorney, privacy and compliance advisor Dirk Koch brings several important areas of expertise to the founding team as they launch the company. He has a strong background in public law and privacy both from personal and professional experience as a privacy and data security attorney in Frankfurt, with his own practice.
He also has entrepreneurial IT experience, and has already founded one IT company, which provides services to fire departments across Europe.
Co-founder Martin Weller brings decades of complimentary experience to the MedPayRx team. After a 20 year career at Schlumberger, he followed his wife back home to Germany where he assumed a role in corporate HR and IT management before leaving to help run his wife’s medical practice. He is a Canadian national, although with German roots and is German fluent at the muttersprache level.
Over the past decade, he has also been chair of the board of the International School in Bonn. Martin has one son. He is also active in charitable causes, and plays non-competitivehobby league team hockeyice hockey regularly for a team called the Financials.
Founder Marguerite Arnold has over 25 years’ experience in fintech, IT, IoT, cleantech, privacy, cybersecurity and related disciplines – and in several countries. She was inspired as a child and has just never stopped innovating. She has worked for companies including Morgan Stanley and on Google projects. She covered 9/11 for the Washington DC (national) bureau of Reuters.
She is also a published author, and covers the cannabis industry from a global perspective, based in Germany. She obtained her EMBA from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management in May 2017.
A now permanent American expat, she has lived in Germany for the past five years. She is the first in her paternal (Jewish) family to return to Germany to live. She has also passed B1 Deutsch.
